What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you submitted and the two letter country code supplied by our hosting provider with the request. Nothing else. We do not ask for a name and we do not have one.
We do not use cross site tracking, behavioural advertising, advertising networks or third party marketing pixels. There is no advertising on this site.
Why
To send you the newsletter you asked for. That is the only purpose. The country code is stored because it arrives with the request and it helps us understand roughly where readers are; it is not used to profile anyone.
Who we share it with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share the list. Sponsors do not receive it, in whole or in part, in any form. That commitment is repeated on the newsletter page because it is the thing sponsors most often ask for.
How long
Until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe is in the foot of every issue and takes effect immediately. You can also ask us to remove your address through the contact page.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in relation to your personal data. Write to us through the contact page. The supervisory authority in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner's Office, and you have the right to complain to it.
Technical
This site is served as static pages. We do not set cookies for tracking. Server logs generated by our hosting provider are retained by that provider under its own policies and are not used by us to build profiles of readers.
